# Felix Amadeus DM correction note — 2026-08-17

User supplied an Instagram DM screenshot from verified Felix Amadeus / `felixadeus` replying to the PBC article. Visible reply: “It says on your website that Oliver Tree is not dead so I don’t really see you being serious.”

This triggered a fresh Oliver Tree death-claim check. The re-check found multiple Google News-indexed mainstream reports from June/July 2026 (BBC, CBC, Global News, AP, Guardian, NBC, People, Rolling Stone and others) reporting that Oliver Tree died / was killed in a Brazil helicopter collision on or about June 14, 2026. The prior PBC article over-weighted Oliver Tree’s still-live official tour page, which appears stale and is no longer sufficient to contradict the death reports.
